Sorry I haven't been updating:

It's been a long time but I've been a very busy bee! A couple of weeks ago I found out I got accepted to NCAD so I'll be starting first year Art & Design there at the end of the month. I'm more than delighted and I'm so excited to start :)
Had to spend a couple of days looking for a place to stay and also a lovely flatmate. Seem to have found both, a nice lil apartment in Rathmines and a gal I know from my hometown starting the same course. Im very very happy.

Also, adopted a beautiful kitten called Maisie from an animal shelter and I love her to bits. She's the cutest thing ever but so gutted I can't bring her with me!

Life is changing loads and I love it but as I'm so busy I regret to say updates won't be any more frequent than they are now for a long time.

Thanks to all my followers and everyone who has ever left a comment or even just read my blog from time to time.
I really appreciate feedback and all the lovely messages you leave for me. Please don't stop reading! I'll be back with life updates and I'm sure that with college I'll have lots of exciting things to post on here when I get the time!

Thanks again,
Niamh xxx

Is it better to have one or two besties or a large circle of friends?
I've never been able to be best friends with someone. I like a large circle because there's always someone free to hang out with and always someone to talk to, though sometimes I would like someone I could share everything with. What do you think?

I went to the library and got a new card. It cost me €3.80 to re-new my membership since I'm an adult. Of course the town I live in is quite small so our library is pretty poor but the woman behind the desk was an absolute dote and has ordered me in some of the books. To start with I got Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, Emma by Jane Austen and A Scanner Darkly by Phillip K. Dick which is a novel about drug culture and was apparently made into a movie. I'll update you on what I think.

Anyway, here I some photos I got developed of when I went to see Bon Iver with some friends last week:
